On Holiday (Hiatus)
6Due to unforeseen circumstances, I have to go on hiatus. This is supposed to be a holiday and I’m supposed to be relaxed, but it has been a taxing week. (FYI, just got back from my cousin’s wedding – see previous entry). So I will go on a little hiatus, to sorts things out, relax my body a bit and build this site again from scratch. (Planning on a new template).
I will also in a week or two will post new pics from the camera. Ranges from my convocation week to my cousin’s wedding
Have a fun filled holiday ppl. At least I’m going to have one ![]()

One Down, A Few Dozen More To Go
0For the past 2 days, I’ve been camping it out at my relative’s house. As a cousin of mine was getting married (she’s 1 year older than me).
Helped out a bit with the preparation. Killed my second cow (the 1st one was Qurban from a Hari Raya a few years past) Relearning the different names for the meat. Musey(Tenderloin), Kasih(Faux-filet) and so on (I’m not so sure of the English names
)
Everything went smoothly I suppose, the ceremony was on Thursday, and then there was some light refreshment (not so light considering it involved rice) afterwards, with Lamb as the main dish.
The real event was on Friday, (picture taking, tepung tawar, and what’s not) where a big luncheon was prepared. (that’s what the cow was for). Glad that it was a friday so that everything only started after Friday prayer, but it sure did drag on till evening, with streams of people coming in non-stop.
Now I’m tired and wish only to sleep ![]()

Aidil Fitri 1425 Hijr
7To all my muslim friends, Eid Mubarak. May Allah bless you. And for non-muslims, have fun at the open houses
In such a short month, Ramadhan has come and and pass us by. We may not live to see the next one, so on this count, make the last day of Ramadhan count.
Wish I could write a longer entry, but I’m still working on a new template. With the current rate, and considering the many distractions to come. It will not be finished soon ![]()
Have fun people ![]()

Sniping vs Daylight Murder
4Sniping has nowaday become a popular form of picture taking. Sniping is when you take other people’s picture discreetly. FYI, sniping is usually done on those handphone with cameras. So be warned that there are thousand of snipers out there, armed with Camphone (megapixel or VGA) trying to take pictures of anything. As per norm the preferences for subject matter is girls.
There’s also another technique which I’d like to call Daylight Murder as it involved you taking pictures openly. This for me is the best way, and perhaps much much more polite to the people around you. And you have no qualms about being caught. As you are already doing it in the open. Thus far I have had no legal problems with this technique. And it has worked wonders for me.
Bummed Out
1I’ve been busy for the past few weeks, seriously… the school was in an exam mode, and still is (only a few papers left). And me, basically under piles of answer scripts. Trying to mark them all before school ends, just don’t want to decrease my own holiday. And even that, the school holiday is getting considerably shorter. I have tons of wedding invitation to go to (musim mengawan ??
).
Speaking of weddings, another one of my cousin is getting married
This time around from my father’s side. I went to visit my grandparents alone last weekend, as my parents are not really that well (can’t handle long travels). And I sort of got pulled into her wedding’s discussion and all. I managed to butt in a few times, but I didn’t really contributed much. Perhap because I wasn’t really in the mood. My younger cousin was commenting that weddings are too much for her. And she was thinking of having hers at a hotel or something. And I told her, if wedding were a lot easier, there sure wouldn’t be such profession as a wedding planner (made famous by J. Lo). As for me, I’m just gonna bask in the delight that it’s not my time yet ![]()
Other than that I had a great time spending the weekend at my uncle’s and grandparent’s, went for early sahurs with my cousins for the whole time I was there. Also went running around in the afternoon looking for iftar (berbuka) treats. Thinking of doing it again… maybe next year. ![]()
I hope you guys had fun too during this ramadhan
Still a few more days to go, have fun, liven it up, may Allah bless you ![]()
