A Week More

Yeah, just a week more to my convocation, then I’ll get my degree and will have nothing more to do with USM, except if I want to further my studies there AGAIN… huhu
Everything is set, got my stuff ready actually, just waiting to go there this Tuesday. Have already applied for my leave last week. Nothing more to do actually just need to wash a few more shirts pack a few more stuff.. but still my mind is bothered, and truly I hate it.
This weekend has not been my best weekend. My ear is throbbing with pain from an old and recurring wound. My soft bones in my ear was cracked as a child because it got bitten by a long-lost relative of Mike Tyson. Heheh.. ok here’s the deal, during a fight when I was in primary school my ear got bitten, and the soft bones got cracked. And now sometimes the alignment of the bones would get upset and thus leaving me in pain. And I am in that kind of pain now. Can’t even touch the damn ear. Can’t even really open my jaw for that matter.
So this weekend is considered as wasted as I’m not really doing anything… just sleeping the pain off. Erghhh hate it X( Gonna go and do something productive afterwards… If I can manage it… Frown
Still have something on my mind… but it is better expressed with the last poem… Razz

Or are you someone’s love,

Seeming so near…
Yet in truth my love,

My veiled love,
Shall I proceed;

Hectic And Tiring Week

Ok not really that hectic but it was tiring. 2 English Camps in a row. Zone Level + School Level, then this morning the school had its Open Day. So my weekends was rather very full of activities…. which was rather tiring…

Dungun Camping?

Will be leaving for Dungun early tomorrow morning. Will be accompanying 10 students of mine for an English Camp at Teknik Dungun. I don’t really want to go. But I can’t really say no to my Panitia Head. I still have a bit of my flu, though its only a slight cough now and then.
Oh well, I might as well enjoy my 4 days there. A lot of the english camp activities will be done by the seaside so that will be enjoyable … at least to a point Grin The students will be enjoying the activities… the only part that I’m actually looking forward to is the eating part Razz and maybe watching their performances.
I’m supposed to do some documentation for it too, using my trusty camera and also a HandyCam I borrowed from the school. Hmm I’ll be keeping my eyes open for other things too. Who knows I might be seeing some of my USM friends…. coz this is a Zone Level English Camp. All technic school both in Kelantan and Terengganu actually. So there might be some ppl that I know. Last year it was done at my school. The first Zone Level English Camp for that matter. It was a big deal, introducing that stuff for the zone…
Still have the school level English Camp next week. Among the reason I don’t really want to go is this. 2 weeks in a row, sure as hell it will be tiring. Gotta go now. Need to think what to pack for a 4 day trip.

Woke Up In The Dead Of The Night

Woke up around 3 am today, not surprising though, been doing this for quite a while… sleeping early and waking up wayyyy early… slept at 11 and woke up at 3, guess nowadays my supposed limit is 4 hours…. but heck I still continue on sleeping most of the times..
Just that today I felt that I needed to write something before it goes away altogether from my mind… I’m still thinking of something that happened a few weeks back. What happened surely fits my title… it was surreal…

A Very Sick Man

A very sick man is not a nice thing to look at, especially if he’s trying hard to breath, and at the same time keeping his innards inside…
The only good part about me being sick is I tend to smile more often, as when I’m sick, I don’t like to talk, and will just smile at everything that ppl tell me Razz
This last week, the kids behaved, luckily they know a sick man when they see one. And have been playing along nicely with me. Made them do a lot of exercises though. (it wasn’t that hard) Grin Am looking forward to my weekend, but still have to go to KB tomorrow to have a look at things. Handphone and others, need to buy some new blank CDRs too. My harddisk is getting full with all the stuff I’ve downloaded since getting home.
Missing the life at Penang right now, the late night drinks, the crazy stuff that I do with friends. The long-till-afternoon sleeps …. Wish I could go back to that time, but sincerely no, that part of my life is over, and good riddance too Grin
Time to get a nap, my head is still pulsing. Flu is no fun..

A New ShoutBox

Finally, a new shoutbox, and I’m back to independence…. no more relying on other ppl’s crap server. At least if it’s gonna be down. It means the whole site is down.
Previously I was using Dekap’s Personal ShoutBox, and I loved it coz I get to host it here, at my own site. And the template system, control panel and all was cool. But then I got hooked on Doneeh’s Shoutbox, the main reason was because I could reply to every comment itself and thus not getting ppl confused to whom I’m actually replying to. But Doneeh’s main setback was because it was hosted at it’s own server, and was having a lot of issues. For those who loved Doneeh u can try wdcreezz.com’s Shoutbox, it has the same replyable comments as Doneeh’s.
But for me I opt to use something which I have full control over, so this time around I’m using my cousin’s (apih) script, but since he has not really completed its development I am not able to distribute it. My version of it is heavily modified from the script that he left me with. Still need some work on the control panel..

*added : After tinkering a bit the main page is finally XHTML 1.0 valid, and its CSS has also been validated… think the other pages is also valid, but i havent checked. It took me a while getting everything ironed out on the main page. Hoping that all pages of the site will get validated as well with the code change.
