What Should A Guy Do?

Yeah what should a guy do? when told that a girl likes him, by her good friend too. Should he act indifferently in front of the girl or just run off? I chose to act indifferent at first, but I realized it was stupid. I was just delaying something that is inevitable. Something that at the end of the day I have to face again. And yes, I have told in her face that I don’t have any feelings for her, though not in a direct manner.
And inevitably her friend barged in again, and I had to tell her to stop matchmaking and to stop giving hope to the girl. It’s not the fact that I have a girlfriend or even another girl in mind, it’s just the fact that I’m just happy being single, finding joy in being single, without needing to think if what I do in my everyday life would lead to my other half hating it or just being plain jealous. As always the best friend refused to see that a guy can be happy single. O yeah single is soooo mundane, so I told her ask your friend this “Does she wants to experience the reason why my other girlfriend dumped me? If yes she is welcomed to a 3 month relationship with me”. Yes 3 month is my marker point, my relationship rarely lasted beyond that point. But heck no, she says “Do not let past relationship clouds your judgment and hinder you from loving and being loved”. I should have told her that love is good and all fine with me, but the important part is, I want to be happy. Not loving someone and being utterly miserable. Those days of mucking around is over. I hope. I’d rather flirt around than having an unstable relationship, and cause more pain to myself and whoever it is that is unlucky enough to be my partner.
That’s being said, I truly hate it when girls have the opinion that all single guy are out to find a girl (basically themselves). No, not all guy and least of all me, while I can be seen as rather flirtatious all I want is a friend.
Sorry if this entry hurts some people, but I have to break it out one way or another.

Still April Fool?

Is it still the season for april fool? coz somebody has been trying hard to fool me. A very elaborate joke I might say, but poorly done. Razz try harder next time. Ok here’s the story ….
A few days ago… i received an sms from a number I didn’t recognize. It was rather weird. Starts of with
Unknown: Hi is tis karlbum @ rahman
Me: Yes, n who is this.
U: Hi i’m Ika, I got to know u from a friend and also ur web. can we be fren
Me: errr sure. mind introducing urself?
U: I’m Ika, My real name is syafika im 23yrs old. and now I’m staying in selangor.
and it goes on and on and on… bla bla bla….
I was curious as the names she supplied me with doesnt register. I know none of those ppl. So on an instinct I called her. And I was greeted with a voicemail greeting. And guess what, it was one of my friends, apparently she just changed her phone number and decided to play a prank on me.
To her.. get a better idea laaaa…. and jangan la reject call lain kali kan dah kantoi Razz

The Run About

The last entry was from Kelantan and guess what? I’m back in Penang!!! Hehehe.. I only went back to get a few books. Smile Anyhow here I am back in ol Penang.
Got here at around 5 am. Slept like a baby till lunch. Sleeping on a bus from Kelantan is equal to no sleep, more like tiring ourself. With the multitudes of sharp turns. Frown
And at night, A friend (Mr. Aiman the crazy architect) and I went over to Transkrian (USM Engineering Campus) to pick up a friend. Got there, picked up the girl. Brought her back to Penang, by ferry!!! Had some nasi kandar at the famous Line Clear Nasi Kandar (if you have been in Penang, and you tell me that you haven’t heard of Line Clear then I consider you as either ignorant or a big liar) Then we had to rush back to Transkrian to send the girl back. As the campus closes at 12am sharp! So here we go again. And no we didn’t get there in time. We only got there at around 1.30am or something, and Aiman was driving like crazy. Macam naik kereta rally tahu tak!!! We ourselves only got back to Penang at 2.15 or something. So there ends our journey, running around in circles which started at 8pm and ended at 2…. crazy loh…. pakcik dah tua, lenguh habis tulang.
Anybody plz remind me not to agree to pick up anybody from the middle of nowhere just to eat in civilization and then sending them to nowhere town again. Better to eat there than running around in a circle. And I’m thinking of installing a rollcage or bucket seats just in case Aiman decides to impersonate a rally driver again. (dah la aku cam rally navigator smalam dok kasi arahan)
Ok that’s all, tonight I’m gonna sleep like a baby hehehe Smile

Sri Mutiara Photoshoot

It was a wonderful day, managed to settle a lot of stuff here at USM, going up and down thru the bureaucracy here at USM and such. And then, I was given a surprise, a priviledge of a sort. I was invited by my friend Aiman to join him and his senior, Sarly and Junaidi. They were going to document Sri Mutiara’s interior design. So I got to do the still photography part. The interior design was done by a Dr. Hafizah and Hani (Sarly’s wife). Sarly was video taping the whole place, while I was trying to get some nice shots of the place. When I say we were given a priviledge, it truly was a priviledge because we were allowed to enter all the rooms, even the bedroom of TYT, managed to get pics of his AV room cum Office, damn it was nice. And I also got to go in the room that Pak Lah usually stays at. Hehehehe. The whole exercise was done so that Dr. Hafizah would have a documentation of the whole design, because she is going to write a book about it. And also because they wants to do a bit of a montage for the TYT. Did all of that in 3 hours, from 8.30pm til 11.30pm. TYT and family joined us later on in the night. Managed to salam Toh Puan Razz And got to hear TYT playing a few tunes on the piano, was busy taking pictures in another room so we didn’t really get to see him playing. All in all it was tiring yet fun. Why shouldn’t it, I’m only an amateur photographer but I was invited for that hehehe Grin I’ll try to put up the pics from the photoshoot in a few more days. If I can ever manage to find the time to put it up.

Dual Monitors!

On another note, I have just got back home from Penang (my gamble to stay another day paid off with the Sri Mutiara Shoot) and here I’m happy to say that my new graphic card has been delivered. It’s dual monitor capable so currently I’m using 2 monitors. The quality is quite decent considering its an old model, don’t ask me why, but I really like old models that has been tried and tested.
p/s: Sri Mutiara is the Residence of Penang’s Yang Dipertua, also affectionately called TYT (Tuan Yang Terutama). Toh Puan is his wife lahhh.. Razz

Pokok Jambu Itu

Pokok jambu air depan rumah dah masuk peringkat nazak, mana tak nazaknya 2 hari berturut-turut aku gergaji sana-sini. Awalnya ayah aku la kasi cadangan, suruh aku tebang pokok tu, dia kata bunga dan daun jer lebih berbuahnya dah tak. Baik tebang jer dari menyusahkan mak aku sapu daun kering. Aku pun mengiyakan la… Good exercise what, dah lama tak tebang pokok ni… jadi aku pergi la tebang ngan ayah aku. Dia takleh tebang direct sebab pokok tu dekat sangat ngan rumah. Jadi kena la tutuh (kerat dahan demi dahan). Hari pertama dapat kerat 1 cabang besar, second day baru dapat lagi 2 cabang besar.
Mak ai letih jugak ya. Setelah sekian lama tak bergiat dalam tebang menebang. Dulu-dulu slalu la jugak dok tebang pokok time-time ayah aku ajak gi tebang pokok lama yang dah takda hasil dlm kebun dia. Sekarang ayah aku pun dah tak peduli sangat kebun lain kecuali yg dok sebelah rumah. So takda la pokok nak ditebangnya. Pokok tepi rumah kiranya dah 3 la kena tebang. 2 lagi kena tebang waktu preparation nak buat garaj. Rasa rugi la pulak, sebab aku suka pokok tu semua, sejukkan rumah.. selesa. Dah takda nih.. bilik aku pun cepat sikit panas.
Aku tak sempat pun nak tebang habis pokok jambu air tu. Actually ada lagi batang dia dlm 5 kaki. Sebabnya aku terpaksa datang balik penang. Ambik paper untuk short sem pastu jumpa lecturer sket, budak bengong cam aku ni memang kena byk jumpa lecturer ekekeke Razz
Oklah tak larat nak tulis panjang-panjang ni pun dok numpang komputer orang.

Another Boring Day In Wonderland

Yeah, it’s another boring day, actually very boring.. decided to watch a few movies. Got to see Scooby Doo 2 and Walking Tall.

  

For Scooby Doo, I won’t recommend anyone seeing it unless u want to reminisce the good old days of watching the cartoon. As said for the previous movie, the selection for Shaggy’s character was on spot. This time around the plotline was lamer. Revisiting the old premises for the cartoon with a little effect to spice things up, and that’s it. Have a go if you just want to laugh for no reason or simply because you just hate those scary moviessss.. Razz
Walking Tall, hmm considering the fact that this is a loosely based remake which was a true story. It was quite ok. But mainly its an action film so don’t expect to see the any historical similarity or anything. The Rock’s character was loosely based on the legendary “Sheriff Buford Pusser”. Simply put, good guy meet up with bad guy = tons of action plus Johnny “JackAss” Knoxville as the lunatic sidekick Smile u get action, u get comedy. And for myself I simply enjoyed watching some ass being kicked.
Adios.. now time for another round of movie…
