A new year has dawned upon us,
Bringing with it light and cheer,
Is this the time for us,
The time for happiness and cheer?
Is it a time for reflection,
A time for resolutions?
Or is it just time to reflect,
A good time to inspect?
Time for new things,
Time for a new beginning.
Time for us to kinder new love,
Time for us to remember old loves
Time for a new start,
Time to jump start
life; and to forge on,
Time to go on.
