Just got back from BJ that’s Bukit Jambul Complex for u 
Bought myself some extra stock of blank CD-Rs, got it at a discounted price, (regular customer + muka poyo) and I even bought myself a new book, The Covenant by Jeff Gullvin.. huhu will have to see if this book is good or not. I bought the book for RM5.90… huhu I’m such a sucker for discounts… the other day I bought a Dilbert book for RM9.90 … yeah head on to ur local “Popular” and go to the old book section.. u might find a few gems…
Anyway I also went to the movies, saw LXG, heh it was definitely worth it.. worth my 16 ringgit (had to pay for my friend 
) Eventhough I had already watched the vcd and expected to be sleepy, yet the movie was entertaining enough that I was awake the whole time even with a full stomach (I went to see it after dinner .. ) I’m definitely recommending u ppl to watch the movie.. just for the sake of seeing Sean Connery in action Now I’m interested to go and see the 1985 version of King Solomon’s Mine (there are 3 version for ur info, the 1985 stars Sharon Stone beside Richard Chamberlain) Anyway LXG in its own fascinates me, 7 characters from various backgrounds coming together… from the legendary Allan Quartermain to Tom Sawyer.. who can resist the movie, even if the plot is not that strong.. the actions n effects definitely makes up for it.
Hermm ok then, I think I’m gonna burn some old movies now

These few days have been quite boring, have just finished watching The Rundown. I can simply say it is not overrated. The action scenes were simply marvelous. Have to get myself to a theatre to really appreciate it. a 17″ monitor doesn’t do it justice I will not give u the details of the movie, all I can say is.. the ending is not what u would expect
Oh I also have seen the new trailer for The Matrix Revolutions.. it’s cool! And I’ve also seen the 10 minute preview of LOTR : Return of The King… damn the preview made my mouth water… I can’t wait to see the movie. And if you think helm’s deep battle was cool… wait for this one.. it will be more fun.. as attested by those who have read the book (that includes me )
Anyway we have a new restaurant around here, not really that new… but it’s new Its called Dulang Cafe. Owned by Hairie Othman and his wife… yes the actor… and yes he is newly wed… 27 Sept I believe (a friend of mine went to the wedding). Cute wife too, and speaks in a heavy Penang accent Heheheh… anyway the special there is supposed to be its Nasi Lemak thou they also have western and everything else that comes in mind.
The thing is … the first time I went there was because my friend wanted to try the Nasi Lemak. So we had ourselves some Nasi Lemak. I put all sorts of topping and it cost me RM2.40 and my friend’s was RM3.80. That’s the good part.. it looked cheap right.. tell u what happened. My friend ordered Ice Tea. It cost him RM1.80 .. muahahahah and to this day he still says to me. “Hang tak mau pi minum air singgit lapan ka” The voice of an irritated man.. hahah “Sapa suh gatal nak makan kat restoran class-class”. The food is good the service is ok U might spot a few celebs too on the way, but the price? Be prepared.. ekekke
And me… what am I supposed to be doing? I’m supposed to study for a paper on Wednesday. But heck… I’m instead playing games, Utopia and Freecell (yes the dumb window game) and lavishly enjoying watching movies… old and new…
Owh what the heck… I’ll pick up the book tomorrow.. maybe But I’m going out on a shopping spree tomorrow La la la.. crazy guy who likes to go shopping for computer parts … 8-}
Oh btw another poem (The Unfaithful Lover) of mine is going to be published in an anthology..

What Do You Look For?

This is a long overdue entry, this entry was originally sparked by a conversation I had while I was on my road trip sometime back with my bestfriend. We talked about his love life and my love life. Categories of men… and how women look at men.. and so on and so forth…
Among the things that we talked about was what is it that girls look for in a guy. Being ppl with scientific backgrounds, we manage to divide guys into 3 major group, which as always with human sciences .. is interrelated and is overlapping is some major areas. (yes, we are nerdy and a bit out of the loop )
So what is the groups? Group A is the macho guy with the look and physical prowess (and maybe some moolah). Group B is your typical romantic, sensitive type of guy. and Group C is the dependable guy. (either financially or emotionally or both). The grouping is very subjective But mostly determined on the major points of a guy. He can be sensitive and dependable but maybe he’s more sensitive? He maybe macho and dependable, but he may rely on his machoistic nature to attract girls. You get what I mean
So we managed to group guys according to what girls tends to look for. But let us step back and begin to wonder… what type of girl would go for a particular kind of guy? After some groping around, we best concluded it is based on the maturity of the girl/woman. Because the trend is, as the girl gets more mature, she tends to look beyond the physical look of a person, and begins to see what’s underneath (as is with any other sane being).
my conclusion on that day was that girls that go for Group C (dependable) is usually 25 and above. (prepared to get married, needs a dependable guy)
The ones that go for Group B (sensitive) is basically around the age of 20 to 25. Emotional turmoil period, needing someone who understands them.. that sorts of thing
And lastly for Group A. we couldnt identify it with any age group, as maturity isnt really connected with age.. and the age that was given is just as a pointer, because that’s when the selected mind setting occurs
Btw. I actually did some work on this theory. I actually went as far as to ask girls what do they look for in a guy. And basically most of them conformed to the theories I made.. the few that didn’t was clearly slightly more/less mature than their age group
Any comments on this crazy idea of mine?
p/s: This idea will conform with the materialistic girls theory Just exchange macho with money

Semalam seharian aku main game online u-topi-a (heheh sajer eja camtu). Mana taknya aku login jer tgk province aku habis kena serang 2 kali berturut-turut… terkocoh-kocoh aku bina balik defense. Bebudak yang main utopia paham sangat ah yang game ni memang addictive. MMORPG strategy based game. Nampak text jer tp puas main wooo Anyway smalam satu hari aku spend masa bina balik defenses sbb kena serang bagai nak rak. Dah lah aku bermain character “Super Thief” Elvish Rogue.. memang kena defensive. Huhu… seawal pagi tadi nampaknya dah ok balik, probability diserang dan tembus lagi defense rendah la kot. Dah siap set benda-benda pelik yg before this aku tak suka buat (over defensive). Lega sket.. lena la tidor malam karang
Malam semalam member aku gi main snooker lagi, aku seperti biasa tak join. Snookers not my game.. tangan bengkok kot.. aku main tak pernah menjadi ekekeke…. so smalam aku dok melayan movie yang baru siap dload. Underworld, Kate Beckinsale berlakon dengan Scott Speedman (tak pemes pon). Anyway layan la jugak movie tu. Takda la aku ngantuk ker apa. Cuma citer tu terlampau banyak plot terlampau banyak angle. Memang bleh pening sket ah kalau tak perihatin. Citer pasal Vampire lawan dengan Lycan. Lycan tu werewolf ah (lycan kependekan dr lycanthrope). Perghhh tgk scene fight puas hati ah jugak… skill macam-macam kuar. Takda ah scene pistol jer cam matrix. Pedang, throwing star semua kuar … Scene paling best bagi aku time dok terjun dr bangunan tinggi… relax jer… Twist citer ni kira boleh tahan gak. Rupanya sebab dok bergaduh sbb Ketua Lycan tu kahwin curi ngan anak Ketua Vampire.. kira langgar adat ah… tu yang jadi dok berperang tu… Nak tahu lagi gi ah cari CD tak pun tunggu la masuk panggung.. tak pasti la bila nak masuk panggung mesia
Maka tidor lah aku pada kol 4 pagi (konon nyer lah) setelah melayan movie.. Ok lah nak gi brunch Dah kol 11 pagi

Had a rather stimulating conversation with a friend. Debating on the how you are to choose ur life partner. Even talking about the ones that ur parent chooses.
As i explained to her, Love comes from the heart. But to choose someone to spend the rest of your life, you need a balance of need and want. Need in this case is using ur brain to choose him/her and Want is the act of wanting that person.
You seriously love a person… but sometimes you just can’t live with that person for the rest of your life.. That’s where the need comes in. A combination of using ur brain (need) an ur heart (want).
Balance is always needed when making life changing decisions.. Life is always balance.
Then comes the other topic, parent’s choice. For me arranged marriages is a thing of the past. Not many will have that come between them and their love. And still I do not deny that the parent’s choice has its benefits. And to be fair all round it is beneficial for the parent to be able to come up with a few choices. Not just one, one means arranged… means u must marry that guy/girl. Which is not free choice. But if your parents come with a few choices… juicy ones that is. Could you resist? For me and my parents (yes I’m still young but the topic comes out sometimes) the choice is still in my hands… I’ve been hinted sometimes but still, a smile would be enough for my parents to know that I’m not interested.
So between how to choose? and your parent’s choice… both must have its own balance. Balance on need and want. And balance on your choice and your parent’s

I found out the truth of that quote the hard way. I built my business based on friendship and it suffered. Why the revisit? Coz just this morning I was talking to Zero about it. And also this afternoon I finalized my going out of the company by signing some official document that will take my name out from the company registrar. Heh finally…
And I sort of did a bit of threatening as well. Threatened to force a review on their business plan by the incubation center. My point was that, the original partner that is left is only 2. Me and my friend got out. I was taking care of the website dept, and my friend was in the graphic dept. The one that was left was in the sales and marketing department. Considering that I was the one that tabled the business plan to the Incubation Centre till we was accepted as one of the project. I had a big say in making them review their business plan. It was time as well. Annual report stuff, Its been a year since the company was founded by me and the 3 friends.
Its time the new partner develop a new plan as well. And I also asked that if they could just use a new company name. *secret plan to retake the company name and build a one man business hehehe *
As I heard from the other friend that got out after me. The company was steadily losing money/ not making any money after I got out. Pity them, but I lost my voice in the company. Didn’t make any difference if I stayed or not.
Anyway I’m really thinking of setting up my own company.. fully owned by me of course. I think I know enough to be able to table a business plan till ppl believe in it … heheh.. But I think I will delay that till I get a job.

I know this entry would sound stupid in the end, but still, it is a point worth noted.
First of all I’d like to tell you there is a common misconception about iced lemon tea or lemon tea and also its brother iced lemon. Why do I say that? Coz it’s not lemon that we Malaysian use. Its lime most of the time except at those big restaurant and hotels. And how did I found out? Coz I was actually corrected a by a restaurant owner. I ordered iced lemon (limau ais), she promptly mentioned, its lime not lemon Hoho it would have done me no good to get into a fight with the makcik Coz she’s been living in the US for quite sometime before coming back to Malaysia.
So that’s it… Iced Lime Tea and Iced Lime (true if you are eating at the mamak’s)
One other point to note. Iced Lime/Lemon Tea is bad for you. From the perspective of the doctor, you are only drinking a mixture of salt. Lime or Lemon is acidic and Tea is alkaline. Put those 2 together you get water and salt. Which won’t do your kidneys good So no more Lime + Tea for you ppl ok
As a sidenote the thing about acidic + alkaline stuff can also be applied to the Vitamins you eat. Note that certain vitamin are acidic and others are alkaline. If you need to eat both type. Make sure you separate it by at least 15 minutes, at least that’s what my doctor told me.

It’s been a while since I touched the codings for my website, and today ho ho I touched it again. Considering the fact that my entries have gone from being a few to over a hundred now, I’ve included a search box for my own use U can use it too, but I don’t know what u ppl would be using it for
And I’ve also changed the banner, it is still basically the same banner. But I’m using the flash version of it. I actually did the banner in flash and converted it into gif thinking that some ppl dont have the flash plugin. And had to use a 75kb gif instead of the 9kb flash file. Now I’ve found a way about that which would show the gif file for ppl who don’t have flash installed. That should help it to load for ppl on dial-ups.
I’m also currently working on a forum for my province on utopia. Haha stupid la that game, I’m addicted already Well that’s for now, it’s a saturday go out and play ppl, While I return to my comfy bed and watches LOTR 1 and 2 non-stop.
