Walking In A Dream Land

I walk upon this lovely land
the land of my dream,
and yet i still remember my land,
a land that haunts my dream.
Di bumi ini aku mencari sebuah erti,
erti sebuah kehidupan,
dibumi sana aku diberi erti,
permulaan sebuah kehidupan.
Walking upon this land,
I remember my own land,
I long to be home, on my land,
I long to be in Malaysia, my homeland.
Hati Ku resah di sini,
Sentiasa saja terkenangkan pertiwi,
Hati Ku bukan di sini,
Sentiasa di sana, di pertiwi
Walking upon this foreign land,
I always remember my land,
The land of my people,
A land of great people.
Ku lihat mereka yang bertebaran,
Mereka yang bertebaran bersamaku
Apakah engkau sudah hilang ingatan,
ingatan tentang asal diri mu?
Have they forgetten their homeland?
Where their parents toils the land?
Have they ignored their calling,
A land of their own calling?
Ku berdiri dari jauh, hanya terdaya,

Note: This poem was created especially for a friend who wanted something to recite for her Merdeka Day presentation. And here it goes… The theme requested was that of a traveller in another land. Longing for home… and seeing everyone else forgetting home.. Another request was also to make it in 2 language… it is not done in a translation form rather it is done in 2 poems that is severely(rigidly) connected Smile

Today is a hot day

Seriously today is hot.. not hot because of the weather… simply because the airconditioner here has been moved to next door. Our cybercafe is moving… not that far just next door.. Heheh…. and today while helping out with moving stuff, I managed to order myself the 7th book in the Artakusiad Saga… cost me RM23.50. That’s a special price for pre-ordering it. Would have cost more if I don’t order it now.
And for the last few days I’ve been trying to come up with a suitable poem for my friend. She need it for the Merdeka Day recital. And a few day is really a close call… I’ve only managed to write a portion of it. Seems to have lost a bit of word.. I’m not that patriotic perhaps? Heh … that’s all for now.. I’m off to eat something…

For me it would seem rather simple, coz I’ve met a few…. one for example is one of my good friends sister… I’ve tried being nice to her… never did say anything cross or otherwise (some may have slipped) But for some reason she just can’t handle a conversation with me without trying to bash me or otherwise….. and as it is… just today… I was merely messaging her asking her how she felt … coz she was hospitalized a week ago… oh and what did she do? oh she bashed me again…. and I just had to f*cking bash her back… pahhh read it for urself

Would thee be happy to know I love thee,
Oh my dearest rose.. would thee,
I seek not thine’s love,
I seek only to profess my love,
My divine devotion to thee,
Can it be compared to a summer breeze?
Flitting, from time to time,
Yet there for all time…
Part 2 – Egoistic Man
Should I be in thee’s heart
For I seek not thy’s heart
As sure as I love thee
I would not be thee’s
For I cannot devote myself to one
Thus I cannot be thine’s
It would do grave injustice,
To all the women who craves me.

Feels So Happy

I’ve just arrived from Transkerian….. after staying there for a day and a half.. it was fun.. got to meet some ppl.. although not that many… got reconnected with some ppl whom i thought would have forgotten me by now… the simplest example would be… “eh Rahman… ingatkan saper” ahahahahha.. feels so good….
And the true reason that I feel so delighted is that a poem of mine… Staring At The Cloudless Sky(revised) is now in the finals for a poetry competition at poetry.com and it is guaranteed a place in a poem anthology… heheh gonna go and get a friend of mine in the us to buy that book for me…
Btw some of u might have heard that I did a pretty crazy thing at uptown on sunday night… ekkekeke ok here’s the short version….. Me and my best friend shared a plate of chicken chop… it was no typical sharing… I hold the fork.. he got the knife… he cuts and then I fed him…. next he cuts again and then this time I eat.. and we did that all in front of 2 of our lady friends.. who couldnt cease to be amazed at how crazy we are sometimes .. ekekekek Razz ok la… more anecdotes will come on later as I remember them.. for now I’m just gonna be happy wooohooooo

KL, Ipoh, Taiping, Parit Buntar

Continuing from my last entry, as we were just taking some time off before we go to KLCC to watch a movie, my friend made a call to ask a girl if she wants to join us… instead she asked us to send her off to KLIA…. thus began our journey to KLIA… sending a friend from college off…
So we got to vista angkasa and picked the 3 girls up and pushed off to KLIA… before that we had to find a BSN coz the girl wanted to take some money out… we went to Bangsar lama and baru to find a BSN which we didn’t and as we were already late we headed off to KLIA… driving a small kancil at 130km/h.. blame that on my friend he was driving… Razz And then… we did find a BSN on the way to KLIA…. oh yes we did.. on a LARGE billboard… and the girl was bombarded with stupid jokes on whether there was a BSN atm on that billboard and how we are supposed to get onto it… hahahhaa…
Then we managed to get to KLIA just in the nick of time… as she got off the car and straight away had to board the plane…. heheh and then began the other 2 girls journey trying to find where the both of us were…. actually we were right behind them.. but neither of us could see each other.. hahahahah…..
Our first plan was to send them to KLIA and try to make it to a late movie… but that didn’t happen… instead we went to uptown and had us some supper/dinner…

Its KL again ?

i’m writing now from the laptop of my dear ol friend… having fun obviously this 2 days that i’ve been here.. yesterday i arrived in KL around 5 picked up by my friend and we went to a friend’s house to drop her lil bro, (the lady friend wasn’t there) but we were caught by the mother and had to stay for dinner. typical typical.. (for my friend that is)
and dinner was then followed by the usual session of talk with the mother.. which caused us to arrive at my friend’s house around 12 midnight . heheh crazy huh? nahhhh
and today…. we stayed in the house until around 3 pm… i managed to finish 2 books, one by stan sakai and the other by scott adam.. hehe… then we went out for lunch which we had at some foodcourt near taylor’s college subang jaya. hehe from pj to subang jaya just for some lunch.. it was good anyhow… then we strolled over to damansara utama to an old friend’s house just to be told that he’s doing some course right then at UM. then we proceeded to go to Taman Lembah Kiara just to sit in the car in the middle of rain.. and calling ppl in ipoh.
now u might wonder what’s the connection between all those places.. from pj to subang then to DU then to ttdi… heheh absolutely nothing.. just wanderlust i think ekekek.
so we have decided to go down to ipoh tomorrow morning.. and we are not going to the starlight cinema tomorrow for which i have tickets.. but what the heck we are replacing that tonight.. both of us is going off to KLCC to watch some good ol movie. i think its tomb raider again Razz
anybody wants my ticket for the starlight cinema? though i dont see how im gonna give the phone to anybody Smile
ok that’s all i think im gonna go and book the ticket for the movie… adios Devil

Don’t you just hate it when one of those stupid phone blares down in the middle of a good movie…. Oh I can’t even remember the number of times I felt like smacking ppl in the face just for that.. only self control and the thought of the person being able to sue me back kept me in my chairs…
Most ppl just don’t know the proper manner for mobile use.. I mean can’t u just see the signs before entering the movie hall that explicitly says no hphone…. If only that can be considered a crime against the law. Now wouldnt that be interesting.. how many ppl would be caught and fined… hehehehe
Outside our country it is permissible to use mobile jammers that can jam ur phone signals.. anyway according to the star…. our law doesn’t allow that… but hehehe Smile I know a place where that jammer has been used.. my local univ library to be exact. One fine day.. I went there to look for a book and as I was about to turn the phone into silent mode I noticed that there was no signal.. heck I know that the place is always bad for reception but not a single bar? Hmm then I read a notice saying that they were using a jammer inside the library… Haha interesting… considering the fact that it’s against our law to use it….
Now how did they go about that? Some ppl higher up must be very good eh… but heck I’ll send an email soon enough to the admin….

Is that a bad title? pahhh it’s as good as any…. and why would I say that? The main reason is I’m supposed to be graduating this year… but I didn’t graduate this year…. why is that… oh a lecturer just decided to hold my marks and instead failed me….. all for one silly test that I didn’t go to.. Oh oh.. now u know my secret why I’ve been acting weird lately… yeah.. because I’m reminded of that stupid fact… ooo how I hate university life where lecturers have the ultimate say… and u can’t do jack about it. X(
Ok that’s done… I’ve relieved my burden…. a little at least. Heh… now on to the fun part of my life…. I’m planning to go to KL this weekend… then it was planned that me and my friend are going to have a little road trip.. just a trip back to Penang actually… with a few stops at good places to take pictures hopefully… Smile That would calm down my nerves if that plan goes smoothly Smile I’ve been wanting this trip for a while now… considering the fact that I haven’t seen the guy for a year as he’s been working abroad.
Hope this will give us the means to be as close as we once was.. oh btw, he’s my bestfriend Razz My sifu, the one who let me have the use of camera for all of my stupid ventures into the photography world Smile Hehe… that’s all
