Satay

Hik hik, treated myself to a nice satay last night. Satay in true Kajang style. Nice and tender… yum yum… I think I’m gonna have some more tonight…. addictive! yeah…. Smile Anyway I have just finished watching How To Deal, starring Mandy Moore. My comment could only be that it was far nicer than Down With Love. Although the theme is almost the same. A girl rejecting the idea of love.
Mandy Moore was certainly cute and innocent in this movie, same as in A walk to remember, though in this one she appears more stylish.. And she certainly can shake that booty… hik hik Smile The main gist of the movie was about how Halley Martin (Mandy Moore) loathed the idea of being in love. And in true cinematic fashion she founds it to be otherwise. Anyway there was a couple of scenes in the movie that is worth mentioning. “Jedi Mind Trick” ahahah now the movie gives a whole new light to the term, naughty even. Smile And there was one conversation between Halley and Scarlet (Halley’s bestfrien) in which Halley was saying that Macon (Trent Ford) is only a friend, then Scarlett retorted by saying “A friend with benefits”, you get the idea … Smile

Paint Fumes Make You Happy

Yeah I think so, coz I’ve been painting all day and I feel happy? Or is it the colour? hehehe …. The CyberCafe will be moved to a new place next month, actually just next door hehe.. so we got the place painted. Guess what colour is the new paint.. hehe Blue, Fantasy Blue.. yeah.. my favourite colour.. Now gonna have to decorate the place .. huhu..
La la la feels so happy Dance Yeah the paint fume is gettin to me Smile
Btw I’m working up on a new interface for the website, more of new buttons … ahaha too lazy to do a complete design…. gonna try to make a dynamic flash button… Smile and after much badgering by a few ppl, I’m deciding to put up a tagboard… huhu we got comments we got guestbooks.. and they want a tagboard.. ahahah crazy lah!!!!.. No problem.. I’ll just get one of those weird looking shoutbox.

Fragmented Hard Disks

I had fun today, I defragmented my whole hard disk. The whole thing took around 10 hours. My C drive took the longest. Took it around 8 hours to finish. The other 6 drives took just a mere 2 hours. Damn that was long. But it was fun, knowing my computer will run a bit smoother, just a bit. But a little boost of performance is always good.
8 hours, that was fair actually considering I hadn’t defragged my computer since I last reinstalled win XP on my computer. Last night I checked the status then downloaded my favourite defragmenter Diskeeper from Executive Software. If you must know, starting from win2000 microsoft started using Exec Soft diskeeper as its standard defragmenter. The version shipped with winXP is equivalent to the evaluation I used on my old winNT computer. Diskeeper is considered industry standard where defragmenters are concerned. Hey it can even defragment other computer on the same network. I don’t think ur regular defragmenter can do that. Smile
Now I’m off to defragment my computer once more.. errr having fun Razz

Tired To The Bone

Oh how tired I am… feelssss so tired… yeah I’m not ur regular joe. I work weekends… Weekends I work at a CyberCafe from 9 am till 2 am… but yesterday was most tiring. How tired was I? I fell asleep on the counter. And managed to get myself to bed as early as 10pm then wokeup again at 12 midnight. Why was I tired? Perhaps coz the night before I didn’t sleep at all Smile Watched two movies before getting around to open up the cybercafe.. then I went out to shop in the afternoon, managed to get myself a whole load of CDs at a bargain price…. RM1.40 for a 800mb CD-R when everyone else was selling em at RM2 a piece. Sheesh.. do you know the gov has stopped all imports of CD related paraphernalia.. namely CD-R and stuff, expect everything to hike up till September when they will lift that ban. After shopping… (no it was not a personal shopping spree, it was a business shopping stuff) I got back to the CyberCafe then took over from the Owner… and there I was bone tired from my trip… and felt sleepy from 6 pm onwards… managed to sleep whenever there wasn’t a customer… actually there was.. but I slept anyway .. eheheh Razz
Now I wanna go and watch Down With Love.. and proceed to sleeping peacefully…. i-) Perhaps my download of Terminator 3 and Legally Blonde 2 will be finished by tomorrow morning.. then I can watch em…. watchout for my review tomorrow, maybe.. ekekke Smile

Insurance Agents

Insurance agents and their persistance, I’d have this lady agent coming to see me for quite a while now, I think about 3 – 4 times already, kept badgering me to buy an insurance plans from her. I think I’ve heard every other type of insurance plans there is. The funny part is I know her supervisor, and the guy has never offered once any insurance plans for me. Instead offered me to become an insurance agent which I promptly refused. And I actually do go out with the supervisor guy. I think he’s the branch manager or something for Penang. After telling all that to the lady, still she said, ahh why don’t u buy from me laaaa.. I need to have other excuses, today she was trying to get me to buy an insurance/saving plan. Which I promptly says that I have a saving plan going along just now at Tabung Haji and doesn’t want to think about it anymore. I mean I’ve had the saving plan when I was in my primary school why should I change it or anything.
I’m pretty sure that someone will say that insurance is a good thing for a rainy day and so on. But I don’t see that yet. Yeah I know bad stuff can happen, but hey, it’s not like my mom ain’t gonna help or anything right. Smile . Among the main reason that I don’t want an insurance plan is the that I don’t like knowing that I have to spend an amount every month. It’s not like I have a steady income. It’s the same thing with other stuff. I’m still using prepaid at a time when I can afford to use a line. Oh yeah, I do have a telephone line under my name, that was for my old “rumah sewa”. Someday maybe I’ll get a plan, if ever when I have my own car, my own house something… not ready to put myself to some strict plan.

Ada Apa Dengan Gedik

So I was surfing around one day, and I was invited to join a website … jiwang.org.(the link is down there) Happens to be that I know the dude who owns the domain and pretty much talks to him on a friendly basis. So I went to look around the website, pretty impressive considering it has sponsors. Among the sponsors happens to be my hosting company. And they have a very large pool of bandwidth, 50gb just for the main website, not counting all those mirrors where they keep the video clips and mp3s. I did a few things for them. Got myself promoted to “Wartawan X-pose” last night. Ahahah why the x-pose, coz I know a few inside stuff to all those gossips, just happen that I have friends who knows ppl Razz
Anyway one of the thing that I found on the website was this little Video Clip titled Ada Apa dengan Gedik, it was about a bunch of MMU students which were considered gedik? They pretty much acted like it. With all those hair flipping that they did. Big Smile Had myself a good laugh too.. I’m just curious who shot all those videos, themselves? and how did it got to be titled that? A joke? or just somebody who did’nt like those girls? Have a go at the files.. u might know them

Fantasy Fan

Yeah, I’m a big fan of the fantasy genre, since I picked up my first fantasy book when I was in form 4 I could never not read a book like that. I’m a big fan of LOTR, I follow Robert Jordan very heavily, supposedly Wheel Of Time (WOT) is the next LOTR.. And I read Harry Potter too… Smile Yeah very crazy bout fantasy novels…. can’t seem to stop picking up titles from that genre. I even went berserk a month back when I bought 3 books by Robert Jordan and another computer book.
Anyway my point is, I heard that TGV is going to do a LOTR movie marathon for the third installation of LOTR. They are going to play it back to back. Woooo 10 hours worth of movie. December, bebeh just can’t wait. I’d do that movie anytime of the day. Though I usually feels very sleepy coz I always know whats going to happen next (bad things when u have read the book over and over again). heheh
Owh for those Orlando Bloom fan, he’s in Pirates of The Carribean, a Walt Disney movie. Sure as hell can’t miss that can u?

Friendster

Hey guess what friendster is temporarily unavailable… ahahaha ran out of bandwidth! Funny! Speaking of friendster.. I was sucked into friendster a couple of month back by my little friend (u know who u are, and i’m blaming u for my addiction) But I’m cured, I rarely opens the god forbidden website anymore. But still I managed to get a few friends from it. Smile Yes yes, u guys…and girls… Razz Some of my friend said why does friendster looks too much like a dating service… I had a big laugh then.. but when I look again.. yeah it does look like a dating service with all those buttons suggesting ppl to other ppl … hmmm… interesting isn’t it. But mostly I use it to find old friends and new ones… I managed to find a few old friends.. very old friends… friends from my early introduction to the internet even.
So friendster does have it good, the bad thing is, it can be quite addictive, though after a while u get soooo sick of it. U don’t want to see that website again…. I’ve seen a few ppl who at first was addictive to it, even challenging themselves to how many friends they can get and at last just stop going to the website anymore. Fed up? or does the website looks too stale to u. I mean its basically the same thing, add new friends bla bla.. the communication system was terrible, I mean how hard can it be to send a friend some message… very hard… instead of some drop downs… we have to munch thru the whole friend list to just send a simple message… and now? seems to be on its downside a few times…
Hmm friendster friendster. .. will it suffer the same fate as ecircles? communityzero? maybe… we’ll wait n see… the money always win in the end Grin

Sms

I was deleting my old sms, and buried among it was my most memorable. The sms was short but the meaning was clear. The sender hates my gut. The message was simply “F*CK YOU”. Loud n clear, I’m most hated when I am too direct when saying something, or saying it in too cool a manner. But then the sender thinks that message was not enough. There was a second message, shorter yet more demeaning. “BASTARD”. That message made my day. It told me more about the sender in a matter of minutes than all the time that I had known her. Oopss yes it was a she. Devil Yes, sometime I don’t get along with people well. Well, the girl was to blame. U don’t actually tell something to me… and next explains it was a lie… then the next week tell me the same thing and tell me its not a lie this time. Confused? I was… and therefore I simply made a simple conclusion that she likes to lie, and what she has been telling me all this while might as well be a lie. Simple as that.
I’ve had ppl telling me to fuck off a few times. But never actually from a girl. The last time I was told to fuck off from a guy was when he was paying me some money and he doesn’t look like he wanted to pay. Ahahaha that was the day. Looking at him writing a cheque for me and calling me a fuck at the same time, and all that while I was correcting the things he put down on the cheque. Big Smile Yeah I’m mean.
I’ll continue the stupid sms story next time Smile Not much behind it anyway….

Just An Empty Space

Ooo yeah there’s an empty space alright… inside my head Razz Bored to death… been having to kick myself to start writing the report. One interview one report. Huhu… this is gonna be tiring. Well I always did manage to do a report in a space of an hour or two. But to be able to write I have to relisten to the tape of the interview first, and that would take up half a day at least. Listening to the tapes, transcribing every other conversation/reply huhu. I better get started. Have to meet the vice dean tomorrow afternoon and bring the report along. Probably going to discuss our findings. 8-}
Well I’m off. Wanna play a game of literati first.
